HOW THE HIDDEN FENCE WORKS

The transmitter sends a radio signal through a wire, which is buried at the
perimeter of the area where your pet is allowed. If your pet approaches the
wire, the receiver collar picks up the signal and will warn him with an audible
tone. If he ignores the tone and proceeds further he receives a different tone,
plus static correction which will startle but not harm him. Advanced
electronics ensure that no other signal will activate the collar. When he
returns to his allowed area the warning tone or correction will stop
immediately.

Your pets are trained to respect the boundaries you set for them. Temporary
flags mark the boundary where the warning tone sounds so that your pet will
have a visual cue to help train him. Your pet will quickly learn that if he goes
further than the warning tone he will receive a correction. Features such as
the width of the boundary, the length and intensity of the correction are
adjustable.

Anti-run through mode: For fast or stubborn pets that run
repeatedly past the boundary. A 5- second correction is given if
the pet runs through the correction zone. ( - A feature almost never
needed, if training has been done correctly ).

When set at the anti- linger or anti- run through mode, the collar will issue
progressively stronger corrections until your pet gets the point. This rewards good
behaviour. A safety "Time Out" stops the correction after 20 seconds.

FEATURES OF OUR PREMIUM WIRE

The wire we use to install your system is HEAVY DUTY 14 gauge solid core
copper. It has UV resistant insulation.

APPROXIMATE COST

Each installation is unique and requires an estimate, but as a general rule of
thumb it will cost about $800 (installed) before taxes to cover a 200' x300'
property (one dog, standard transmitter). That compares in price to a
6x6x14'chain link dog "run" or a mid-price range garden shed. Each
additional dog requires another receiver collar ($149.99).

Larger acreages are more cost-effective than smaller acreages. For
example, a square five- acre lot would only cost about $300 more.
